Nitro Circus
Good news for Pastrana/Nitro and FMX Fans alike. Global Action sports has announced recently that a Nitro Circus Tour will start during 2010. Travis has previously stated that he wasn’t too interested in a tour however since his retirement from anything motocross he has some spare time.
The headline act will of course be Travis and the Nitro Circus as well as other FMX stars. Hopefully this will see Travis back on the bike! Doing a tour/show isn’t too new to the Nitro Circus, they’ve done quite a few events in South America; you can see these in episodes of Nitro Circus.
The tour will roll through Australia between May and June, 2010 at 5 major Australian cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth). Later that year the Nitro Circus will head to Europe.
The show is the product of Global Action Sport; these guys did the Crusty Tour and the Australiaian SuperX tour (co-owned by Chad Reed). Also, the Wasserman Media Group has also put their foot forward, they are the marketing team behind Travis and the Nitro Circus. The show is expected to be nothing more than expected with Global Action Sports CEO, Mike Porra stated “It is our ambition to create the ‘Cirque Du Soleil’ of action sports, which tours the world all year round. We believe Nitro Circus Live will transcend cultural boundaries, and like ‘Cirque’, it will be simply spectacular.”
Greg Godfrey added, “Nitro Circus is all about pushing yourself beyond your limits, and that’s what you’ll see at the live shows.”
So be sure to get your tickets!

Just as everyone had hoped, Travis took out the Rally. This is the first time he has won this event, 3 rd time lucky. The first time (2007) he didn’t even make it to the finish and last year (2008) he walked away with second place. To be fair, ACP held his ground for most of the Rally however Travis broke away after the 10th stage after ACP he had his gearbox fault.
