Biography

Erik Roner is the newest member to the Nitro Crew and filling the gaps quite well. Originally a skier, he started base jumping in 2000 and it wasn’t long before he was doing both, at the same time. After pioneering this insane hybrid sport after a short while he met up with Travis and was defnitely right for a new addition to the crew.

Whilst his skills without the parachute and off the skis aren’t too great, Erik isn’t usually one to shy away from a challenge and because of this, his attempts at alternative sports to his own often provide comic releif to the rest of the crew and his fans. Out of all the Nitro Circus members Erik has suffered the least amount of injuries whilst on air however during the Base Jump/Heli Challenge however he blew out both knees which apparently worried him because his knees and their integrity are vital for him to ski up to par of his competitors.

Often ridiculed for having a “Tramp Stamp” by the other members (especially Andy), and even had Jackass stuntman, Steve-O in tears whi himself has ridiculous tattoos but not a “tramp stamp.” Despite his lack of motorcycle skills, Erik is a favourite among Nitro circus fans because of his positive outlook and insightful comments whilst filming. He has been features in a few Nitro Films, all the episodes and over 30 other TV shows and films since starting his professional career less than a decade ago.
